This is a true links course and an excellent test of golf.
It is set beside the ocean and is rated in the top 20
courses in Victoria of those that are open to non-members.
All the usual facilities are available with bistro
meals served too. It is a comfortable and just a scenic
35 minute drive from Paynesville.

Lakes Entrance is located on the picturesque
Gippsland Lakes in eastern Victoria.
The course is links style, winding through coastal dunes
and featuring ocean views. Rated number 85 in Australia,
Lakes Entrance is well bunkered with a number of water
hazards coming into play.
A popular holiday spot for over 100 years, Lakes Entrance
has an easy seaside charm. Located on the edge of Ninety
Mile Beach where the Gippsland Lakes meets the Southern
Ocean, many of the local activities are water based.
Visit nearby scenic Lake Tyers, bordered by ocean and
state forest and a river that meanders inland to Nowa
Nowa.

Cross the footbridge to the popular Ninety Mile Beach
surf beach, which is patrolled by lifesavers during
the summer months, or take a hike to ‘the entrance’
of the Gippsland Lakes.
